The unanimous conference leader has now won 14 consecutive matches and the Bearcats, sporting a 22-2 record, downed Philadelphia Biblical University, Sacred Heart University and Newbury College last week, sweeping PBU and Newbury. Baruch College (14-2), winners of six in a row, including road wins over #3 UC-Santa Cruz and Division I Harvard University, have climbed to the top of the charts in the league&rsquo;s first poll since January 25. The Brewers (15-5) solidified their standing with a 3-2 win over NECVA #3 ranked Ramapo College in a Metro Division match last week. JERSEY CITY, NJ&hellip;For the first time, Vassar College of Poughkeepsie, NY&mdash;in only its first season as a full member of the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association&mdash;is the new #1 ranked team in the 39-school conference. The Brewers, who have steadily climbed the poll all season, knocked off then #1 ranked Nazareth College at the Vassar College Invitational over the weekend, then defeated Philadelphia Biblical University in the finals, to claim the NECVA #1 ranking for the first time. They are the third different school to own the league&rsquo;s No. 1 ranking in the first six weeks of the season. The Brewers (13-5) received all 12 first place votes and all 120 possible points in the sixth poll this season.
